I Live Here!

Today Jennifer and the kids and I took a walk to the beach. As we were walking over a bridge with a great view of the ocean I thought to myself - We live here. I was remembering the time that we had vacationed at the beach and how I would sit in the sand and try to figure out how to live at the beach. Wow - I live here!

God is really amazing how He works. Galatians speaks about God being able to do more than we could ever think or imagine. I never would have thought that we would live in a place like this, and yet here we are. It is all because we follow this amazing God who leads us on the best adventures.

Another great thing about being here is how uncomfortable I am. I really do feel like a fish out of water. Everything is different here. The culture is unlike anything I have ever experienced. I know what you are thinking - "How is that a good thing?" It's a good thing because I am having to completely depend on God. I am convinced that Heath can do absolutely nothing here. I'm more So-Georgia than So-Cal. But here I have to depend completely on Jesus to work through me. And that according to the Apostle Paul is a good thing.

Wow - I live here.
