Baker City Trip

After a six plus hour drive Jennifer and I arrived in Baker City. It was a pleasant drive, but a long one. One Friday we were shown the town by Mary Jo, a realtor. She is a wonderful lady and we had a really good time looking at what the Baker City market had to offer. After seeing the town we had a dinner with the Young Life committee at Eric and Kristy Sandefur's home. Eric is the committee chair, acting area director and reason Young Life is in Baker City. They are a wonderful couple and their love for teenagers is evident.

We really enjoyed meeting the committee. As a group they were fun, loving and deeply committed to seeing teens meet Jesus. It was a fun night. Please pray for them as they are really trying to know what God's plan is for Young Life in Baker City.

Please also continue to pray for Jennifer and I to have some clarity on God's plan for us in relation to Baker City Young Life. We could really see ourselves fitting in here and enjoying living here, but we want to know for sure that God wants us here.
